My wife decided to forget about the family again last night. Something about work.
So Jaxon, Anjali, and I went to Washington Square Park to dance.
***Side note*** The only dancing you could do in Washington Square Park when I was growing up was the drug overdose dance. It's when you lean forward until you are about to fall over but you never quite fall.
Back to the story...
I parked my City Mini stroller in the middle of the park and asked Anjali to dance. She didn't respond. Probably because she is still 4 months old. I then picked her up and started to shake, rattle and roll to the 4 piece band that played in the park. Everyone was watching including Jaxon. Then he asked me to lift him up so he could get in the fun...
***Side note*** Fun? How much fun do you think I will have with 2 kids in my arms? Do you know how much you weigh?
So I lifted him up and the 3 of us danced in the center of Washington Square park. We laughed and danced for 3 minutes while I turned them about.
I have to say, aside from the amazing feeling I had when my 2 kids were born and when I went for my 1st prostate exam, this was one of the happiest moments I have ever had as a dad.
There are 3 things I can't change... my 2 kids, my 1 wife and my 0 rights.
