Doritos - Crash the Super Bowl 2013 has added a new segment to their contest which doesn't affect the results for the million dollar prize. It's called the Nacho Ad Award given to those entries that are so unique they deserve extra kudos. Unfortunately my video hasn't been selected but that's ok... We still have faith that we might be in the running for the grand prize. Besides it specifically states that this award has nothing to do with the actual contest. In essence... It's just for fun. There are 8 categories with 5 videos in each. If you want to watch and vote for the nacho ad award contenders you can go to the link below. I have to warn you some of them are really funny, weird, gross, and unique. Click The Photo Below To See The Nacho Ad Award ContendersAnd!!! If you haven't already seen it... Enjoy this year's Doritos - Crash the Super Bowl 2013 that I made with my family.

Ever since I submitted the Doritos - Crash the Super Bowl 2013 video I have been asked a segment of questions. Although I am putting together a bloopers reel I thought it would be interesting to answer those questions and put them to a post for those who are curious. Q. Is your daughter really hanging upside down? A. Yep. Anjali takes gymnastics class and loves to flip around so it wasn't too difficult for me to ask her to do a flip on camera. I called action and said do a flip and the rest is history. Q. How did you get your son to say his lines with such energy? A. We actually played a game of charades. I started playing with him about a month before the shoot. I taught him the rules and then he caught on real quick. I would do a round then he would get up and do one. My daughter would get up and do a round as well. It was absolutely precious. Q. Is your wife really holding you upside down? A. You bet. I did a handstand, my brother stood behind my wife to help lift me off the ground. Vivian said I got him and my brother ran off camera. She must have held me a good 6 or 7 seconds. My wife is strong and beautiful and that is why I do what she says. :) Q. What are you going to do with the million if you win? A. Well I live in NYC and if there is a tax hike come 2013 then I will cheer for a few hours and go back to work Monday morning. :) Q. Do your kids like Doritos? A. Funny thing is last year I entered the Doritos - Crash the Super Bowl 2012 contest and taught my kids to say Doritos so every time they see the Doritos truck they get excited. I won't be shocked if they LOVE them. Now if I can just get them to be excited about broccoli. Q. What was your biggest challenge during the shoot? A. I would say the biggest challenge was all the preparation before hand. The actual shoot day was fairly simple. However, each element (flipping, charades, comfort with clothing, lights and camera, make up, time of day) had to be ironed out way before we filmed. So I would say I was stressed for the last month because I kept going over any loop holes that might come up. Well that is all. If you have any question for me I would love to answer it. Thank you for watching and reading and if you would like to share the video with your friends and family I won't be upset. :) Until the bloopers, Jai I thought about the Doritos - Crash the Super Bowl 2013 video for an entire year because of last year's video success which you can view below. No I didn't win the million dollar prize but the video went viral which brought in a nice amount of money and a bit of recognition. However, my goal is to win the grand prize. Will it happen this year? You be the judge. By the way do you recognize the cast? Those crazy people are my family. I want to give them a special warm thanks for being a part of my idea. Team Mommy Mom - Vivian Granna - Anne Daughter - Anjali Team Daddy Dad - Jai Poppy - Ciro Son - Jaxon Crew Brother - Mahkyle (Cameraman 1) Friend - Gus (Cameraman 2) Make Up Desiree Dicupe

Jai Guess what? I finally finished the Doritos - Crash the Super Bowl 2013 video. One year later things are a bit different like my kids are 365 days older and I look better than ever. :)
Oh and... I not only put my son and daughter in it again but I added my mom, wife, step father and of course myself. If you want to help put my kids through a better education than I had please check out the link below and vote for us there or you can visit my youtube page directly. http://apps.facebook.com/crashthesuperbowl/?page=watch&video=848 Special thanks to my brother Mahkyle and friend Gus for being the cameramen and toddler entertainers. And... Bloopers are on the way. Thanks. Jai Perfect Excuses is a short film about a man who meets a woman at a bar, walks her to the front door and pleads desperately to get in. This film was written and test shot in 2009. However, it wasn't until 2011 that I met Andre Hereford who helped me revise the script and film it. Along with myself, Melanie Torres is the actress. Fun Facts: The entire film was shot in front of Andre's home. We finished the last scene at 4:47am right before dawn. Melanie and I are trained salsa dancers who used to dance at the Copa together. The original score used was a Cha Cha Moon River by Henry Mancini. The crying baby is my daughter. She was only 3 months at the time and was not on set. Cast
