You can't judge a book by it's cover. What about a website by it's logo design? Do you know how many MILLIONS of people do that every single day? The mere fact that I say these words stirs a judgement in you so what would make me think I wasn't judged before you started reading. It's what we do. Is it right? Who cares!!! The fact is that wether you know it or not your website is being judged by its aesthetic appeal no matter how great your content or product is.

For those that don't know me, (40 things you might not know about Jai Catalano) I was a graphic designer and part owner of a tee shirt company named Soho Graphics from 1989 to 2004. After selling the company I stopped graphic design for 3 years when I began pursuing my photography career (headshots nyc). Naturally Photoshop came into my life but only because I was being asked to do a ton of before and after photoshop work.

However 4 months ago when I joined the Yakezie Challenge I slowly started getting approached by members and challengers to help them with their logo designs for their WP blogs, avatars, youtube pages, facebook timelines, etc...

Well guess what? Blonde hair aside, you don't have to keep beating me over the head with the same idea for too long before I start catching on. Today I am proud to announce that I have opened up a new page on my website for logo design work by yours truly.

I would love for you to take a look at it and send me some suggestions, comments, love, work, more work, much more work, and anything that you see fit. It's free to ask me questions and I truly care about how your site looks. Of course I care about it's content but if I wrote YOUR content and did YOUR logo design then your site would be mine. :)

Great idea to create a dedicated logo design page on your blog. Doing freelance work is a great way for bloggers to make some extra money, especially when it's something as enjoyable as graphic design. I recommend you take it a step further and promote that page on various forums too. There are always a ton of people looking to upgrade their logos.

Our pleasure Jai!

We spotted just how visually talented you are from your photographs and thought it would be great to span the pond and get your take on our previously staid blog. We didn't know at the time that you had been a graphic designer and T-shirt company owner!

But it just shows what great taste we have....

We love the logo - it jumps out at you and it says exactly what we want - out of the depths of problems with all the uncertainties, we will find a solution. :) And the Avatar kicks a*** as well!

Love your designs. Will definitely keep you in mind if I revamp my logo. If you did my content too then my site would be yours. Hilarious!
