Anyway, today I did strength and agility. Between you, me and everyone else in the world I can't jump rope for sh*t. So, that being said I was a mess BUT I was much better than I was on the very first day.
By the way, I got a ton of complements from a group of friends last night because of my Insanity before and after transformation. Now that I am doing Asylum they all told me they felt inspired but not that inspired. :) Until Tomorrow, Jai
Anyway, today was vertical plyo which after 4 days is the toughest workout I have ever done in the beachbody series. I hear Asylum gets tougher so let me not speak too loudly because tomorrow is another day.
Until then, Jai
In any event I enjoyed today's workout which was back to core and I still think Asylum is a kick butt workout.
Let's see how the rest of the week feels. Until tomorrow, Jai
However, I wouldn't touch this workout until you go through Insanity first in case you are inspired by what I write.
Anyway, today was strength training and as you can see from the photos above today's workout swelled me up nicely. Until Tomorrow, Jai
Ok so why was it nuts? For starters Shaun T is not nice. I mean I know he was recorded on DVD but he just isn't the nice guy he was in Insanity. In fact he's like a drill sergeant. Then each exercise is like a mini dance routine at top speed. The foot work is precise, rhythmical and fast. AND... To top it off he doesn't break it down for you. So, in my own defense I felt as if I was watching him for the first few seconds of each exercise so I could join in. I guess you can say I felt like a teenager who arrived at the school mid semester and nobody wanted to share notes with me. Anyway, there might not be any crying in baseball but there was some crying on my living room floor. Below is the fit test that I had to take to begin the program. Please don't laugh. After I completed my fit test I was trying my very best to do the Asylum speed and agility dvd. The only thing I can say is yes I completed it. And yes I am still alive.
Until Tomorrow, Jai |
