I find I always feel and look better right after a workout. Plus I had guacamole and tortillas late last night. :) Hey at least I am honest. But putting honesty aside I lost 3lbs. Insanity Workout Review - The Pain Is Over My Insanity Before And After transformation day 27 is complete. Today is the last day of Insanity disc 1. That means that next week is all about stretching and recovering. I think that is smart because my body is saying to me "hey Jai when are we going to take a vacation." Although I won't be going on vacation anytime soon. I will be recovering my body for the next 7 days and prepare for the REAL INSANITY. | |
Today was Cardio Plyometric Circuit training. Phew... Done.

Insanity Workout Review - The Pain Is Over My Insanity Before And After transformation day 26 is complete. This is NUTZ. I haven't looked this good since... since... well since I took this photo a couple of hours ago. Even when I had a 6 pack I don't ever remember having a body this nice. I am not bragging. Yes I am. No I am not. I just can't believe how this Insanity is working. Why did I let the ghostly looking guy with a bandaid on his head stay around so long? :) | |
Now I did do P90X years ago in case you were wondering. AND... I had pretty good results. BUT... my diet SUCKED. Today I can honestly say that eating cardboard flavored Jenny Craig meals daily with this Insanity is making me wish I took it more seriously way back when.
Pure Cardio and abs was on the schedule for today. Yep... It still is kicking my ass. I guess that is why they call it Insanity. Because you have to be insane to think you will do the whole workout without stopping for a few seconds here there and everywhere. :)
So, today was day 26 and I am almost at the half way point. Next week is cardio recovery for the FULL week. That's like a vacation compared. Then apparently this workout gets more insane. If that is true then I should expect to see a Brad Pitt 6 pack in a month from now.

Insanity Workout Review - The Pain Is Over My Insanity Before And After transformation day 25 is complete. Today was light but what good is having a light workout if you are working your ass off working? Say that ten times real fast. So Insanity had me doing a cardio recovery workout and I am happy that it did because I got a day to rest these tired muscles. I tell you one thing... I better get my act together and stop complaining because tomorrow is pure cardio and abs. | |
In case you were wondering today was easier. Not easy. Just easier. However before I rap it up I wanted to share with you 3 questions I have gotten over the last month that I think are pretty funny and relevant to this blog.
1. Why are you wearing a bandaid on Day 0
I cut myself shaving for the daily photos? That's as far as I will go with that one.
2. Did you get a tan?
No. I adjusted the white balance on my camera. It adds drama.
3. Did you photoshop your body into shape?
Hahahaha. Why didn't I think about that before I decided to go through this painful shit.

Insanity Workout Review - The Pain Is Over My Insanity Before And After transformation day 24 is complete. I got my ass kicked today by Shaun T. I felt so good when the DVD was loading that I pushed myself to the max in the warmup. Then when the actual workout began I started praying for a nap. I pushed through til the end but I felt like I cheated more than a teenager in an open book test. Luckily I think I redeemed myself by walking a few miles around town. | |
Today was plyometric cardio circuit and the only thing I liked about finishing today's workout is that tomorrow's workout is closer. Yep that is right. Cardio recovery is up tomorrow.
I need recovery. I need a hug. I need a bath. I need a nap. I need to find the next Apple stock and get in at the penny level.
Anyway, what do you think of the results? I am happy with the visual but not to pleased about the pain. Don't get me wrong I don't normally feel this way but tomorrow will be a much needed recovery. Maybe I just feel off.
